Mauritius enjoys a tropical climate with plenty of heat and sunshine. Sea breezes blow in from the sea, helping to keep temperatures from rising too high. The best time to enjoy the many beaches is in the summer as the warmest time of the year is in July and August when the temperatures reach up to 31 degrees C.

For cooler temperatures, the best time to visit the Indian Ocean is Spring or Autumn. Both seasons enjoy a very sunny climate, but the weather isn’t overly hot. It also tends to be quieter, meaning the beaches are more peaceful and relaxing.

Overall, Mauritius is a fantastic year-round holiday destination that enjoys a very hot climate with constant sunshine and warm temperatures throughout the year.
