Spain is a land of wonderful contrasts; from the green and mountainous north, to the shores of the Mediterranean, from the history-laden Meseta of Castile, to the unique Moorish heritage of Andalucia.  It is of course, the summer playground of Europe, and the beach resorts of the Costas along with magnificent villa properties on the islands and near the sea, are ever popular.  But it also enjoys a wonderful climate and winter too, although of course colder inland the centre, can offer magnificent opportunities for short breaks away from the damp and gloom of Northern Europe.  Barcelona, Madrid and Seville are unique cities, each quite different from the other and offer magnificent opportunities for short stays at any time of the year.
