In the words of Dr David Livingstone "scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight", and in our opinion, he wasn't wrong.
Victoria Falls stands at a grand 100m tall and 1,688m wide, however small islands on the peak of the lip separate the curtain of water into what looks like several different waterfalls. With an astonishing 750 million litres of water cascading over the lip of the falls every minute, Victoria Falls is different when visited in dusk, dawn, daylight, or moonlight, offering a different ambience and beauty in each, and we urge you to observe these fantastical cascades in as many light conditions, observation points, weathers and months as you can.
The town of Livingstone has much to offer the intrigued traveller. Adrenaline junkies can make the most of the waters by the falls with bungee jumping and white water rafting, whilst those who would rather relax can dine in one of the many wonderful restaurants in Livingstone, browse the market, go bird watching, or enjoy a glass of champagne and evening meal as the sun sets - what more could you ask for?
