Finland

With Santa Claus calling Finland home, this snowy destination is predictably famed for its Christmas hospitality. However, this stunningly scenic area is not just for Christmas and is open for exploration throughout the year. With the Northern Lights on show for 200 nights of the year and 188,000 lakes to discover, adventurers can never get bored of Europe's seventh-largest country.

Visitors are invited to look around as well as up when travelling to this amazing country as it plays home to brown bears, wolves, elk, moose and reindeer. For an all encompassing Arctic experience, travellers would do well to beat Finland as a destination.
