Franschhoek is an utterly charming little town with French Huguenot heritage and certainly offers the best restaurants that are home to some of South Africa's top chefs. Historic Stellenbosch is a buzzing university town full of history and Cape Dutch buildings and is surrounded by approximately 200 vineyards.
Paarl lies nestled amongst vineyards laden with the harvest's finest offerings, and further afield are the wine areas of Robertson, Tullbagh, Wellington and Hemel-en-Aarde.
