Chalet Chopine is one of our firm family favourites in the equally family favoured French ski resort of Meribel. The resort is considered the most central resort within the well renowned Three Vallees, France’s largest connected ski area and Chalet Chopine is located in the heart of Meribel.
So one could say with conviction that Chalet Chopine is the beating heart of the Three Valleys!
This luxury chalet sleeps 10 guests in 3 fixed double bedrooms and 2 twin/double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, all located on the top floor and the 1st floor.
Our particular favourite bedroom being Bedroom 1 with its intricately carved, antique, raised double bed – adults & little ones alike will love crawling into this cosy sleigh like bed in need of well-earned rest post an exhilarating day out on the slopes!
The charming interiors of this traditional chalet continue throughout. In between the two ‘sleeping floors’, you will find the open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room. The warm alpine feel is captured through the use of bespoke furniture lovingly restored to its former glory along with fine fabrics, urging you to sink into the sofa area to enjoy your champagne and canapés whilst your dedicated private chef goes about their genius ways in the kitchen beyond.
The entire ground floor in which one enters the chalet is dedicated to wellness and entertainment. In other words, on returning from the slopes, you won’t even need to climb a single step in order to collapse into the indoor hot tub and sauna complete with hammam. On this floor is the cinema room with extensive DVD library and the ski room where your chalet host will take care of your skis & boots for you...again, no need to lift a finger on this front either!

Region
The prettiest resort of the famed Trois Vallées, with easy access to both the Courchevel and Val Thorens, Meribel really makes for an ideal base in which to explore every corner of France’s largest ski area. Méribel lies at the heart of the Three Valleys with Courchevel and Val Thorens being easily reached via efficient & easy piste & lift connection. For those that wish to venture even further, the fourth valley Orelle can be reached within a day’s skiing.
Beginner skiers will still feel in the thick of the action with the slopes being up in mountains rather than limited to in & around the centre – our particular favourite areas being Foret & Blanchot above Meribel Village (top tip – beat the morning crowds & take the Golf Lift from Méribel Village instead of from the crowded Chaudanne). Intermediates will enjoy seeking out some of the red and black runs that can be found at the higher altitudes of Les Menuires, served up with spectacular views. With around 200 lifts and over 600km of pistes and limitless powder opportunities the advanced skier will be in their element and almost spoilt for choice.
The village itself has been constructed in traditional Savoyarde style using only wood, stone and slate, making it architecturally pleasing on the eye. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit every taste and plenty of activities to do off the slopes too. A resort with bags of alpine charm, breath-taking scenery and vast amounts of fabulous skiing, we can completely understand its continuing popularity.

This chalet is available to rent during the Winter Ski Season only – December through to April.
Please contact your Rocksure Club Ski Team for all weekly prices as they vary according to season.
Peak Season: Christmas, New Year & February Half Term. Prices from EUR 36,725 per week on a fully catered basis.
Easter Season: April. Prices from EUR 22,035 per week on a fully catered basis.
Off-Peak Season: Early December, January, Early February & March. Prices from EUR 10,735 per week on fully catered basis.
