South East Coast

With a plethora of sun drenched picture-perfect sands, islands, inlets and coves, the South East Coast of Thailand is a wonderful place for a beach holiday. The region is fortunate to be able to offer the best of both Thailand’s natural beauty and its culture, where ancient temples sit alongside impressive waterfalls and glass-like seas.

As well as sightseeing, this region can boast some of the best activities in Thailand. For example, visitors can trek through lush jungle, take a zip wire when in the mountains, enjoy watersports such as kayaking or paddle boarding or chat with locals, as they weave baskets to sell at one of the many local markets. The region is also home to some excellent spas and a wellness holiday on this coast would certainly be a great choice.

The island of Koh Samui has long been frequented by westerners and is rather developed, however still retains great charm, has a reputation for seriously good food and has recently somewhat reinvented itself with some impressive additions having been made to the already fabulous collection of hotels and private villas on the island.

Hua Hin is the original beach resort of Thailand, being more easily accesible from Bangkok and is now a cosmopolitan seaside city hosting the well-heeled of Thailand, with an array of facilities and activities and of course, the beach.

Koh Kut, on the other side of the Gulf, is the perfect place for those looking for a quiet stay on this idyllic island, which is perfect for couples seeking seclusion and families looking for a relaxed vibe.
