Queensland

Spanning the continents northeast area the state of Queensland is home to arguably Australia’s most impressive attraction, the Great Barrier Reef. Cairns in the north of the state is the gateway to the reef and the best place to base yourself for a visit. With it being so popular there is sure to be a tour that is perfect for your needs so that you see the protected area exactly how you would like to.

Queensland is full to the brim with adventure, whether you’re looking to explore Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island, cruise the Daintree River looking out for saltwater crocodiles, or visit the colourful marine life in the Whitsunday Islands, Queensland has it all.

If you’re in need of a city buzz, situated on the Brisbane river is Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane; a blend of neighbourhoods all with their own distinct personality. The Gold coast offers great surf and high-rise buildings just a stone’s throw from the beach.

On a smaller scale, the coastal towns make a perfect spot to re-charge your batteries, spending some time meandering round the cafes, galleries and independent shops.
