Xanadu Villas & Retreat are located on one of the best beaches of the South East coast of Zanzibar. It has seven unique and beautifully designed villas surrounding a central pool and dining area engulfed by an oasis of tropical gardens and palm trees, just a stones throw from the ocean.
Four villas have one bedroom and three villas have two bedrooms. Each villa has its own butler, plunge pool and beach access, and most have a separate roof terrace, lounge and dining room.
Xanadu can be taken exclusively but usually the villas are sold individually to couples wanting romance and privacy.
The resident chef cooks Zanzibari spices with an international gourmet style which is all beautifully presented. Flexibility, individuality and exclusivity are all part of Xanadu’s cuisine.
Xanadu enjoys a great wide stretch of beautiful white sand that feels private. From Xanadu guests can snorkel, paddle board, kayak, go on a sunset dhow cruise and enjoy the spa.
Other activities such as diving, kite surfing or island tours are outsourced and can be arranged easily by Xanadu's manager.

The Zanzibar Archipelago is situated on the Swahili coast in the Indian Ocean and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja, referred to informally as Zanzibar, and Pemba. Cobbled alleyways of the historic Stone Town’s old quarter captivating blend of diverse architectural styles in the mosques and houses interwoven to create this charming destination. Visit the House of Wonders or the old Turkish Baths, or immerse yourself in the lively culture by taking a trip to bazaars or local market stalls.
