Villa Arawan is a 5 bedroom Northern Thai style villa, located within the private Ayara Surin estate and offers outstanding views over Surin and Bang Tao beaches on the west coast of Phuket.
The house offers a mix of Thai and Western styles, with polished teak floors and lovely Thai soft furnishings, plus modern western bathrooms. The large living space with an unusually high ceiling and expanse of glass in the doors opens onto the terrace and gives a wonderful feeling of spaciousness and light.
When the sun goes down, specialist computerised lighting enables you to create the right mood at the touch of a button.
Outside the infinity swimming pool measures 10 x 5 metres with a depth of 1.6 metres throughout. There is also a large heated whirlpool with its own terrace.
Beautiful Surin beach is a short walk away at the bottom of the hill. Several other beaches are a short drive away
A number of good restaurants are within easy reach of the villa. As well as Thai food, you can enjoy Italian, French, Japanese and many other types of cuisine, either in smart exotic settings or more casual dining, often with a sea view. There are several golf courses nearby and the nearest is only a 15 minute drive away.
Breath-taking beaches, outstanding coral reefs and heavenly tropical islands make South West Thailand one of the most loved regions of the ‘Land of Smiles’.
The jungle covered interior, dramatic cliffs and turquoise seas of the island scattered coastline mean that it has a portfolio of natural assets that can keep the whole family entertained. From island-hopping to jungle-trekking and sea kayaking to rock climbing.
Scenery and natural beauty is undoubtedly the main attraction of this region. However, for those seeking a cultural insight into Thailand, Krabi is still able to offer ancient Buddhist caves, outstanding seafood restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Phuket remains very popular with a wide choice of superb accomodation options and easy access.
Just a short boat ride away from Phuket is the unspoilt island of Koh Yao Noi. Largely undeveloped, this island is a haven for birdlife and other wildlife such as Hornbill and bats. Its situation in the bay, overlooking the astonishing limestone rock formations that rise from the sea forming one of the most glorious and dramatic settings for sunrise you will ever see, was made famous in the James Bond film 'The Man With The Golden Gun'. This is an idyllic destination with a couple of incredible places to stay and definitely comes highly reccommended.
