The size of North Island is 518 acres and comprises three granite outcrops with a tropical interior of coconut palms and takamaka trees. The warm clear turquoise waters surrounding the island are filled with an abundance of sea life, from hard and soft corals to nudibranchs and a colourful array of fish.
The island is a place of barefoot luxury for those seeking an unspoilt, spectacular tropical retreat. Just 11 individually handcrafted Guest Villas populate the entire island, each offering understated elegance while embracing the unique atmosphere and distinct flavour of the Seychelles.
The Presidential Villas have a study or second bedroom, the perfect space for children, while Villa North Island is a sumptuous hideaway for two. All the villas are built directly on East Beach and have their own private kitchen and lounge, plus a plunge pool. Each villa comes with its own private butler.
North Island’s lounge, dining room and library, scenically located health spa and gym, world-class
dive centre, and rim-flow swimming pool are all built into a granitic outcrop. A sunset bar and restaurant are tucked away on the West Beach. The joy of North Island is that you can eat when you want, where you want and what you want!
On land or in water, the choices on North Island are many and varied. Cool forest trails and mountain biking create an air of tropical exploration, snorkelling or diving in the warm seas reveal a world of marine wonder, from endangered Hawksbill and Green Turtles to graceful Manta and Eagle Rays, from steely Barracudas and playful Bat Fish to quirky Clown Fish and colourful nudibranch - no two dives are the same.
Sea kayaking or fishing expeditions thrill the active, surfing or stand-up paddle boarding excite the energetic, while boating to other islands satisfies the adventurous. An evening cruise complete with an Indian Ocean sunset is the perfect way to finish the day.

The Seychelles are a set of 115 islands located in the Indian Ocean and considered one of the most luxurious travel destinations in the world. They are an enchanting place where stunning powder white beaches meet blue, transparent waters. It is easy to see why this is one of the most popular tourist spots on the planet.
The islands of The Seychelles are scattered across the middle of the Indian Ocean. 43 of them are made up of granite and form the centre of The Seychelles cultural, economic and tourism industries. The remaining 72 islands comprise low-lying atolls, with flawless miniature marine worlds that make scuba diving sheer heaven.
The Seychelles is also home to rare animals such as the giant Aldabra tortoises, nature reserves and coral reefs. It is a living museum of natural history and is also a sanctuary for some of the rarest species of flora & fauna with almost half of its limited landmass set aside as reserves and national parks. From kayaking to swimming with dolphins, there is plenty to do and see in this tropical paradise.
Seychelles is also home to two U.N.E.S.C.O World Heritage Sites, Praslin’s Vallée de Mai, once believed to be the original site of the Garden of Eden and Aldabra, the world’s biggest raised coral atoll.
