This has to be one of the most beautifully decorated chalets we've seen in the Alps! The owners are avid travellers themselves and you can see this in the intricate detail of the furnishings, nowhere more noticeable than on your arrival at the chalet. Simply breathtaking front doors, intricately carved with motifs transporting you back to imperial India, that open up into the hallway with the regal sweeping staircase beckoning you up to discover the 5 floors of this impressive 850 sqm chalet.
But we have to mention the swimming pool and spa area...it truly is one of the most jaw-dropping we've seen. Seemingly now in Morocco, the gold draped curtains cascading down the columns standing guard around the crystal clear blue water of the swimming pool. The swimming pool, we kid you not, complete with underwater sound system so even when doing your morning lengths you need not miss a single word of the news / favourite music!? The soft yellow & gold furnishings continue through into the champagne bar and beyond to the Turkish hammam & sauna. This is the most sensational party pad.
But back in the land of living, the entrie first floor is given over to the living and dining room areas.
Double height ceiling and french windows lead your eye out over the views of Verbier just beyond (merely a short walk away). A TV snug is separate where the younger generation can escape to of an evening. The dining table is located around the corner, next to the fully equipped kitchen with central island separating the areas so you can enjoy a glass of champagne with your canapes watching in awe as your private chef creates their culinary offering for the evening ahead.
The bedrooms, naturally all en-suite, are located across the remaining two floors. The impressive Master Bedroom with four poster bed occupies the entire top floor. It has its own dressing room, en-suite bathroom with shower and a private balcony overlooking the idyllic slate roofs of Verbier's premier chalets. The remaining 4 bedrooms are on the ground floor. All bar one can be made up as a twin or double and you will also find in one of these bedrooms a kichenette area, which may come in handy for nannies or parents with very small children.
In summary, Bella Coola is the perfect sophisticated "party pad" or the ideal family chalet for get togethers...no doubt, the two going hand in hand!
The most cosmopolitan resort of Les 4 Vallees, Verbier sits in a sun drenched south-western facing valley, perched high upon the mountainside, stretching from 1,500m to the staggering heights of Mont Fort at an astonishing altitude of 3,300m. With legendary runs and celebrated apres ski, it’s no wonder that ever since the ski boom of the 1960s, Verbier has established itself as the winter Mecca of the rich and famous
In the shadow of Mont Blanc and the Grand Combin, Les 4 Vallees is one of the largest, most diverse ski areas of the Alps. With a single lift pass offering access to over 410 km of piste runs and over 90 lifts and trains, Verbier’s seemingly infinite ski area provides some of the most challenging skiing in Europe.
Arguably Verbier's greatest draw is its evening escapades and late night revelry. With a vibrant atmosphere and a heavenly host of bars and restaurants, apres ski is more of an institution than an expectation here. Widely considered as the hot spot for the distinguished and the defined and entertaining the likes of Coco Lounge and The Farm Club, Verbier is most definitely the place to be seen in during the winter months.
