Built on stilts amongst the savannah bush, Bamurru Plains gives guests unobstructed views of the surrounding wetlands and their teeming populations of wildlife, all without compromising on comfort and style.

The lodge consists of ten separate bungalows, all with king size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is also the ability to accommodate children if required.

This unique lodge allows guests to ease in to the day by watching the wildlife roam, all whilst not having left the comfort of their bed.

Bamurru aims to be a true escape from the chaos of your daily life. You won’t find a television, CD player, wifi or a mobile phone signal here, in fact the only sounds you will hear is the rustling of the meandering animals and the croak of frogs outside.

If you are looking for something particularly special, the Kingfisher Suite is the largest of the collection. This suite offers a sense of privacy and for couples offers an intimate candlelit dinner with only the local Wallabies for company.

Bamurru is truly something special, and a place to reconnect with nature, as well as each other.
